Remember when we announced we were purchasing two factory brand-new 2019 Cessna 172s?  They are here and officially ready for flying!

These new airplanes are both equipped with Garmin G1000 NXi Avionics, Synthetic Vision Technology, GFC700 Autopilot, XM Satellite Radio & Weather, and even Traffic.  Not only are they state-of-the-art airplanes, but they are also incredibly safe.

With technology like this, you can feel comfortable and safe flying day or night and to local or unfamiliar airports.  Like the rest of our fleet, our new airplanes also feature new engines.  With regularly scheduled maintenance, you will always feel safe and secure in our airplanes.

Training on G1000 coupled with GFC700 Autopilot & Traffic equipped aircraft prepares students for their future as a pilot. Six of our seven Sierra Charlie aircraft are identical and equipped with this technology (one of our airplanes is a round gauge for students who want to learn the old school methods.)

Having six identical G1000 equipped Cessnas allows students to focus on their training, not on the differences in the aircraft they’re training in. This benefit also allows students to spend valuable training time flying with relevant technology. Sierra Charlie students are then prepared with the skills needed when training for their instrument rating and when they go to fly other aircraft later in their aviation journey!
