JIM SCHUMAN
Assistant Chief Flight Instructor
Commercial Pilot SEL, MEL
Instrument Airplane
Flight Instructor CFI, CFII
Jim has always had a love of airplanes and got a chance to get his pilots license back in 1979. Soon after that he got his Flight Instructors Rating and started teaching, but that was short-lived. He started a new career as an FAA Air Traffic Controller. After about 23 years he retired and quickly missed the world of aviation.
Jim was sold on Sierra Charlie Aviation the first time he went up for a Discovery Flight. When he flew the C172s with G1000, he knew at that moment, he was going to get his CFI reinstated and add his CFII so he could share his love of aviation with others.
