Don Standhardt has had a love flight all his life. His first memories of airplanes are from his family taking his mother to Sky Harbor. Don was glued to the windows watching the planes take off and land. He knew from then he would fly.

Don flew with his uncles and cousins in their personal planes. He took his first college course, Private Pilot Ground School, at age 14. His first solo at age 16, private rated at age 17. Don completed his Certified Flight Instructor rating in 1991. He has a BAE in Education from ASU. Don has found giving the gift of flight to other people is his true passion. He has been instructing ever since.

Don currently has over 15,000 flight hours.
